MILAN — Kiko SpA, parent company of the cosmetic labels Kiko Milano, Madina, Womo and Bullfrog, has appointed Cristina Scocchia as its chief executive officer.
The executive succeeds Stefano Percassi, the entrepreneur who controls the company and will now serve as its vice president, Kiko said on Tuesday.
Scocchia was formerly the ceo and president of L’Oréal’s Italian division before stepping down last April after four years in the role. Prior to that, starting in 1997, she worked at Procter & Gamble, where she helmed the international operations of the company’s cosmetics business.
Percassi underscored that the appointment was made to help the Kiko Milan label further expand worldwide and to develop the company’s other cosmetics brands.
A graduate of Università Bocconi in Milan, Scocchia also serves on the board of administrators of eyewear powerhouse Luxottica.
In 2016, Kiko Milano registered revenues of more than 600 million euros. Its retail network counts 1,007 stores in 20 countries, in addition to an e-commerce channel spanning 36 countries.
