When it comes to street style at Pitti Uomo, walking sticks, derbys and three-piece suits have been de rigueur for years. But now the “Pitti Peacocks,” as they’re known, have some company — and it’s rocking tradition. Showgoers last year began to infiltrate the dandy landscape with full-on streetwear looks — logo T-shirts, graphic sweatshirts, collectible sneakers and the like. WWD’s prediction for this time round? Expect to see less formality and a lot more street, as inspired by this year’s guest designers Off-White’s Virgil Abloh and Jonathan Anderson.
