It’s all silk and florals as gender-fluid themes dominate men’s catwalks

London fashion week’s menswear shows are less about traditional binary notions and more about anything goes

On paper, this response to why silk, lace and florals make habitual appearances in her collections might sound oblique, vague and perhaps a little highfalutin. But it was in fact an accurate digest of the key themes of not only her show on Sunday, but this season’s menswear shows, which are becoming less about traditional binary notions – and more about anything goes.
